Richard Ashman (1890-1970)

นักสรีรวิทยาชาวอเมริกันผู้นี้ร่วมกับ J. L. Gouaux บรรยาย Ashman phenomenon (A wide QRS that terminates the short cycle that follows a long cycle) ไว้เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1947 (แต่ Lewis และคณะเป็นคนบันทึกไว้ครั้งแรกเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1910)
นอกจากนี้ Ashman ยังเป็นเจ้าของ Ashman unit (P-area-mean) อีกด้วย โดย 1 Ashman unit = พื้นที่ 1 ตารางมิลลิเมตร (0.004 mV-sec)
เขาเสียชีวิตในวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1970
Charles Fisch (1921-2002)
เกิดวันที่ 11 พฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 1921
เขาเสนอเกณฑ์วินิจฉัย Ashman phenomenon ในปี ค.ศ. 1983 เรียกว่า Fisch criteria มี 4 ข้อคือ
1. A relatively long cycle immediately preceding the cycle terminated by the aberrant QRS complex
2. RBBB-form aberrancy with normal orientation of the initial QRS vector
3. Irregular coupling of aberrant QRS complexes
4. Lack of a fully compensatory pause (never seen in atrial fibrillation)
